His Approach

After a decade of working in the corporate world, Dave returned to University and obtained a BSc Honours Degree in Psychology, following this he has now enhanced his qualifications and is working towards finalising his Counselling Diploma.

Dave's training is primarily focused on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and act. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression but can also be very useful for other mental and physical health problems.

Experience and Training

Dave is completing his Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre, having previously gained the COSCA certificate in Counselling Skills.

He is a member of COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland) and undertakes regular supervision to maintain a professional practice for his clients and himself.
